Our Practice

“We promise a comprehensive approach to chiropractic care”
“We provide for the need for both immediate chiropractic care as well as the overall maintenance of health and long term wellbeing”
“We collaborate with other healthcare providers of various specialties, both mainstream and alternative, and are committed to helping you determine the best route for your care.”
The purpose of our practice is restore normal bio-mechanical range of motion into joints that have become hypomobile, or restricted in full movement, usually as a result of an acute (sudden) or chronic (occurring over time) tissue injury. Manipulation of the affected joint and tissues, restores mobility, consequently relieving pain and muscle tightness, and allowing tissues to heal.

At New England Chiropractic Center we offer Barrington and the East Bay of Rhode Island a comprehensive approach for the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions that is both natural and science-based. Located on County Road in Barrington, we are committed to helping you achieve optimal wellness. Our care addresses conditions commonly associated with neck, back, and extremity pain through the use of chiropractic medicine and functional correction. We also promote wellness through nutritional and lifestyle counseling.

Dr. Fabris is the most calming and caring chiropractor I have ever been treated by. Her use of soft tissue has really added to my care. She has very gentle adjusting techniques that have alleviated my neck, back and hip pain. Her knowledge also goes beyond musculoskeletal conditions. My wife and I both feel a lot better having done functional nutrition work with her. We highly recommend Dr. Fabris to anyone who is looking for a chiropractor in the Barrington area.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. K. She is amazing at her job. I’ve wanted to write a review for a long long time but honestly I don’t want her to get anymore patients because she’s always busy! If you are looking for a Chrio who cares about your health and well being she’s your gal. I’ve been seeing her for about a year and I’m very impressed by her knowledge not only in Chiropractic but soft tissue massage, acupuncture, and holistic medicine. I’ve had headaches and muscle pain, knee pain and she’s done the best job with all of it. Not only does she adjust me, she does a soft tissue massage and has given me exercises to help relieve stress and correct muscle movement. I was really sick and she gave me a sinus massage! The peppermint oil opened me up right away. She’s genuine in her quest to make you feel better and I’ve never felt rushed through an appointment as I have at other practices. The atmosphere of her office is calm and soothing. Its a small office and room above the Coffee Exchange on Wickenden. She also is easy to deal with as far as payments. My insurance has been all over the place and she really helps me. If that wasn’t good enough I get restaurant suggestions!

I’ve seen several different chiropractors over the last 7 years, and Dr. K is my favorite. She’s very much in tune with her patients and takes a “whole body” approach to healing. I never feel like I’m being rushed through my treatments. I’ve also used Dr. K for nutritional counseling, vitamins, and a guided cleanse. I’ve done many different cleanses over the last 15 years and I found this cleanse to be one of the best.

Chiropractic Medicine

Chiropractic medicine emphasizes the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches. Its philosophy of care supports the idea that the body works in a holistic manner, such that each system affects another. Consequently, chiropractic physicians treat using physical medicine and other non-invasive means, such as nutrition and rehabilitation exercises, to enable the body to heal itself and function at optimal health. As holistic practitioners, chiropractors focus on getting to the cause of disease or dysfunction, as opposed to treating only the related symptoms, in a comprehensive manner.

Your First Visit

On your first visit, the doctor will go through a thorough health history and neuromusculoskeletal examination. The doctor will go over a complete report of findings and answer any questions that may arise. If together it is decided that chiropractic treatment is right for you, a comprehensive treatment plan will be discussed.
